  • Thursday 11th October - part 3

We stripped off our shoes and socks, opened the windows and tried to cool off.

Made our way back out to the main road and headed to Ferntown to see if my Uncle Graeme was home.

He was and he was delighted to see us.

We had a cuppa with him and he and Tim sorted out all the woes of the world for a while.

It was getting quite late so we finally had to make tracks.

    Some quick pix first though.

We had a dinner date booked at The Brigand in Takaka for 6:30pm.

    Just made it.

We were so tired from our strenuous day that we ate our meals and then headed back to the lodge to crash out.

My legs were beginning to feel muscles I hadn't felt in ages surprised
